About this tournament
Operation Sailfish runs January 14-18, 2026 off Singer Island on Florida's East Coast, where teams compete in a two-day sailfish tournament with an $800,000 purse on the line. Anglers targeting sailfish from West Palm Beach waters vie not only for prize money but also for the exclusive Operation Sailfish dog tags, awarded annually to the tournament winner as part of the Quest for the Crest Sailfish Series. The event honors U.S. military service members and includes a signature fishing day component dedicated to American heroes.
