The 49th annual Gold Star Offshore Open is a six-day offshore tournament based at Ocean City Yacht Club in Ocean City, New Jersey. Teams choose two day trips or one overnight trip and compete in billfish release, swordfish, tuna, mahi and wahoo categories. The event benefits the Michael Strange Foundation and its support for Gold Star families.

Choose two day trips (6:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. the same day) or one overnight trip (6:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. the following day) during the six fishing days, August 10-15. Daily weigh-in is 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Ocean City Yacht Club.

The $1,000 boat entry includes five tournament shirts, captain's dinner admission for five, awards luncheon admission for five, a captain's gift and promotional items. Registration was due July 31, 2026. General inquiries: info@ocmtc.com or 609-828-7004.

Scoring Rules
Base awards pay $1,500/$900/$600 for billfish release, tuna and swordfish; $750/$450/$300 for mahi and wahoo; and a $1,200 Gold Star grand prize. Separate cash calcuttas include billfish release ($300), small boat ($500), non-Omni ($500), Mega Mahi ($300, winner take all) and Tuna Super ($1,000, 60%/40%).
