About this tournament
The University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame Celebrity Fishing Tournament takes place in Islamorada on Florida's East Coast, offering a $10,500 purse across three days in late June. Anglers fish for mahi-mahi, king mackerel, and wahoo in the productive waters off the Keys, competing for payouts tied to their catches. This celebrity-affiliated event draws both serious competitors and those fishing to support the university's athletic programs.
