Tuna Thunder 2026 is a one-day team tournament held in Quepos, Costa Rica, where anglers compete for cash and prizes by weighing the heaviest yellowfin tuna. The event pays down to third place with separate awards for junior boy and girl anglers, as well as lady anglers, each recognizing the angler who weighs the single heaviest tuna in their division. Teams can weigh up to four fish per entry, with optional jackpot categories available ranging from closest-to-weight competitions to a 50/50 charity jackpot.
