The Torneo Internacional de Pesca Marlín y Pez Vela Puerto Vallarta is held each November off Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, targeting blue marlin, black marlin, sailfish, yellowfin tuna, and mahi-mahi in Caribbean waters. Now in its 69th year, the tournament offers more than $1,000,000 MXN in total prizes across multiple categories. Organized by Fishing Club Puerto Vallarta since 1956, the event runs for a full week and draws anglers from across the region for competitive offshore fishing.
