The Texas International Fishing Tournament runs July 29βAugust 2, 2026, in Port Isabel on the Gulf Coast and draws up to 1,500 anglers competing for blue marlin, white marlin, sailfish, wahoo, and yellowfin tuna across 500+ boats. Hosted in the waters of Laguna Madre Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, TIFT is Texas' largest saltwater fishing tournament and features a family-friendly format with separate competition divisions including a junior angler playday. The tournament includes live results tracking, formal awards ceremony, and accessible captains meetings for all competitors.
