The Royal Pahhayes Billfish International Challenge takes place each September in Kuala Rompin, Malaysia, targeting sailfish and marlin under International Game Fish Association rules with catch-and-release protocols. Anglers compete in teams of four, supported by coaches and boat crews, with sailfish worth 600 points and marlin at 1,000 points. The three-day event includes pre-tournament training and runs concurrent with recreational fishing days in the waters off the Malaysian coast.
