About this tournament
The Presidential Flamingo Fishing Rodeo takes place July 17-19, 2026, in Flamingo, Costa Rica, where anglers target sailfish, blue marlin, yellowfin tuna, and wahoo in waters along the northern Pacific coast. Located at Marina Flamingo, the tournament offers both charter and private boat participation with a $1,400 entry fee and combines competitive fishing with support for local charter captains and marine conservation efforts in the region. The event draws anglers to one of Costa Rica's established sportfishing grounds, where you've got quick access to deep-water species and offshore structure.
