About this tournament
The North Drop Open, held August 6-10 in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands, targets blue marlin across five days of fishing centered on the August moon phase. Anglers compete from Spanishtown, Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, fishing the North Drop and surrounding waters off one of the Caribbean's premier marlin grounds. Awards recognize both BVI-registered and mainland boats, with points-based scoring across all anglers on competing vessels.
