About this tournament
The Kona Kickoff runs June 27–29 in Kona, Hawaii, as part of the Hawaii Marlin Tournament Series and focuses on blue marlin, black marlin, striped marlin, and yellowfin tuna. Anglers compete for optional jackpots and series points, with standings tracked across eight tournaments held throughout the season. Tag and release opportunities for billfish provide the foundation for scoring in this established Kona competition.
