About this tournament

The 27th SIGFA International Game Fishing Tournament runs May 2–9, 2026, in Apia, Samoa, targeting blue marlin, striped marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, and mahi-mahi across the central Pacific grounds. This established competition draws anglers to some of the South Pacific's most consistent deep-water fishing, where you've got solid chances at multiple species across a full week of fishing. The tournament operates as a tag-and-release format focused on catch documentation rather than weigh-in scoring.
